Embellishment at a Beirut level of richness

Beirut's couture scene is known for some of the most lavish embellishment in the world — gowns where embroidery is not decoration on a dress but the dress itself. That is the register our atelier works in for the city: dense crystal and bead embroidery built motif by motif, sequin work layered for movement and light, metallic zardozi, pearl work, and three-dimensional appliqué flowers constructed petal by petal. Work is developed on tulle and net bases that disappear against the skin, so the embroidery appears to float on the wearer.

Our artisans execute every technique in-house, which is what allows a single gown to combine bead, sequin, thread and appliqué work in one continuous motif without a visible join between suppliers. A working relationship across the region

Charisma Fashion India has long-standing working relationships with couture and bridal houses in Beirut, and development runs the same way it does with our clients in every fashion capital: artwork or a tech pack from the house, a costed sample swatch from our artisans, correction rounds to an approved master, then production checked against that master before shipping. Discretion is part of the service — client artwork and collections remain the property of their houses, and our team does not publicise who it produces for.

Our atelier is in Mumbai and we have no Beirut office; the city's houses are served through sampling by courier, scheduled calls across a short time difference, and shipped production, coordinated by our Mumbai office and supported by our sales representative in Dallas, TX.

How working with our Mumbai atelier works from Beirut

A development begins with our swatch folder, shared so a designer can judge density, hand and finish before sending artwork. From the tech pack, our artisans stitch a sample swatch with a stated cost; corrections are refined until the master is approved, and production follows that master panel by panel. Finished embroidery is inspected piece by piece, packed carefully for heavily embellished work, and shipped to Beirut on the house's preferred courier arrangement.

Client artwork, tech packs and collections stay confidential and remain the property of their houses. Our team shares photography of a client's work only with that client, at agreed stages of their own development.
